Wow!! This year has gone a little too fast and I haven't been the best at keeping up our family blog. That will be a new year's resolution. I need to be able to make the time to keep my family and friends up to date on what is going on in our lives. As of right now I have time to actually do this the problem is 21 months old today, My sweet Carson. He is a handful at times but he is my biggest joy. Between work and having Carson on full attack I don't have much free time. I am going to make that change because I am attempting to start school in March and I need to manage my time a lot better. I also need to manage the house and budget, if anyone has any advice I will gladly take it. Our lives are simple but a little hectic right now. I will post some pictures tomorrow right now I am just making some small adjustments. Please forgive me for my neglect but I am baaack!!

Feeling a little Blue!

Lately I have been feeling really low and I am not sure why. I thought it was because I wasn't getting any sleep. I got a really good night sleep and that isn't the case. I thought it was because my house was a disaster area not the case. I feel all alone and I know I'm not I just feel that way. I need to get out of this mood because it is not fun and never good for my little family. I decided to take up a new hobby which I am going to start gardening. For Mother's Day I asked Jeremy to help me build a garden box in our backyard. I am hoping that will help me relax and get back to being me. I am so frustrated with feeling this way I am aware of the problem now I am hoping to fix it. Any other suggestions I am open to new ideas on how to snap out of this!

Okay!! I am the worst of the worst when it comes to posting anything lately!! I know all you Mom's out there know with a one year old no task is easy any more!! I have had so much happen since my last post that I don't even Remember half of what I need to say so I will do a much better job of posting from here on out. I have even updated my blog to the right season!! I am working on prioritizing and organization those are my goals!! So much going on and no time to report. It also dosen't help our mouse is broken and we had to find another one in our hole of a basement. We have been busy as usual but a lot of fun stuff has happened too! Carson said his First word which was Dada. Carson was on my lap and he started crawling towards Jeremy and he couldn't quit get to him so all of a sudden we hear Dada. We looked at eachother in shock and then Jeremy started calling everyone he knew. Then the other day Jeremy went to take a shower and Carson is looking everywhere calling Dada, Dada. Everyone keeps saying oh don't worry he will Say Mama soon I didn't even care what he said we were just excited. He finally said Mama a few days later. Last weekend Jeremy surprised me with a date night to Hale Center Theatre and that was fun we went and saw Curtains. Then Thanksgiving Happened so that is all that is new with us. We have been working a lot but also having a lot of fun. We haven't been able to laugh much over the stress of bills and life but we are finally able to again and I am so blessed for all that I have. I don't know anybody that is more excited about the upcoming holidays other than me!! I simply can't wait!!!! I am so excited for Santa to visit my sweet little Carson. He has been a really good boy this year. Jeremy thinks I am crazy but I am thinking about getting my Christmas stuff out this weekend. I am trying to track down my christmas cd's and I am going to pull out all of our Christmas Movies. I will post picks as soon as I decorate which will be very soon because I am so excited I can' t stand it!! Yeah!!

I am such a slacker Mom. Okay, Maybe not but that is how I feel. This Month has been a crazy month. I had such good intentions on getting my life cleaned up. House clean, bills paid, flu shot for Carson. None and May I say nothing has gotten done. Kendra got the Swine Flu at the beginning of the month and since we spent that weekend with her in Park City we have all had some type of cold or something. It has taken over my life and I don't like it. I get home exhausted and all I do is count down the hours until bed time. Life has been all work and no play. well that is not entirely true we did go to park city with my family and had a really good time. We were able to rest for the first time in a long time. We went on the Coaster and did a lot of swimming. Then last weekend Jeremy and I went to Lagoon with Tawny and Jeff and had a really good time. Thanks Brandon and Mel for the free tickets. Since this is the first chance I had here are the pics of Carson Swimming for the first time. He loved it and screamed when we took him out of the water. He was so cold and didn't care his little lips were so blue.

I decided that our house needed some Halloween Decorations. I saw some candles that looked like they were bleeding and Jeremy and I thought they were pretty cool. I bought some candles to do it myself and this is how they turned out. I thought it looked pretty good for never doing it before and I am not a very artistic person. So I have some new Halloween decorations at my house. It was also Jeremy's Mom's Birthday on the 1st since we don't have much money we made her present ourselves and I think it turned out pretty cute. This is Carson's first art project.

I was so excited to post some of the most adorable pictures of Carson and my camera has a dead battery so I was unable to. I have a dinosaur of a computer so in order to upload pictures I have to hook my camera up to the computer. Well hopefully next time I sit down to blog I will have plenty of Battery left. Carson went in with his Gammi Patty to his 6 month check up today and I am such a proud Mommy. He is perfectly healthy and perfect. I am always wanting to know how much he weighs since he was born so small and my little guy is up to 16lbs 4oz. He was only 4lbs 2oz when we brought him home so he seems like such a big boy. I am just blessed to have such a sweet loving family and I will post more later.

Wow!! This has been an incredibly insane week. I have been playing role of Mom to an unruley teenager. My sweet sister in law Jorden got herself into a little trouble. She has been at our house all week as a form of discipline. She cleaned my basement and scrubbed my floors and did some other light cleaning. It was nice having a Cinderella for the week. Now she is back home and our house has calmed down some. I am just glad I don't have teens yet. I am not ready for that phase yet. I have been trying to get our house organized again and having Jorden here made that possible. Thanks Jordey!!

I haven't posted anything in a while and it was brought to my Attention when Tiffany asked me if I have a blog. I have been so busy with work and being a Mom and Wife. I know you all know what I mean. I have been working at Jason's Deli and Loving Everyminute of it. It keeps me busy and I am really enjoying working with Ambree and Tiffany. I Love being able to see them so often. I don't have anything really to blog about right now but I will promise to keep my blog updated. In the mean time here are some pictures to keep you entertained. This is Carson Stylin' his Harley Davidson outfit. He looked so cute!! I am glad it will last him through the winter cause it is so stinkin' cute. I can't believe he is going to be 6 months old next week. It is amazing how fast time flies. He is certainly getting a personality, the other day he ripped a napkin in half and looked so mad like the Incredible Hulk He even made a grunting noise as he did it. I couldn't help but laugh. I love my little Toad and I am so blessed to be his Mommy!!

I just want to get a really good night sleep!! I am so Tired all the time! I am very lucky to have such a wonderful husband who does take his turn getting up in the middle of the night but I am still tired all of the time. I knew it would be tough I just didn't realize how tough it is to be sleep deprived. I can't wait til Carson is sleeping through the night. I am just happy to be a Mommy!! It is the best thing I have ever done. I love my Teeny Toad more than anything!! Well back to work for now!!

What will Happen Next?

I am in a complete loss right now. I can't seem to get our life on track. Jeremy and I have had one struggle after another it seems lately. I am just sick over everything that has been going on. First of all the lovely company I work for got to not love them have not been giving me my paychecks. They claim that I have direct deposit and that is where my checks are so after showing bank statements and everything they finally gave me about $800 and they still owe me 2 paychecks. So naturally we are way behind on bills. We finally made our car and house payments. That was a relief but still way behind. So I have been looking for a job, and no luck yet. Then come to find out our identity has been stolen. Jeremy and I both. We have had money taken out of our account and someone is trying to get loans in our names. I guess they thought we wouldn't notice. So we have to close all our accounts and all of the fun stuff that goes along with that, and start all over. We have also had a death in the family my great Aunt passed and that was hard because she was like a grandmother to me. Now I just found out that my Uncles wife's father isn't going to make it through the night. He is like a Grandfather to me. We spent every 4th of July at his house growing up and we have always been close to him. I just feel as if everything is falling apart. I don't know if I can handle one more thing. I am only doing well in one area right now and that is Avon. I am starting to bloom my business but that is the only bright spot in our financial future right now. Jeremy and Carson are the only thing that can make me smile. Jeremy and I are so stressed it is unreal. I just hope my heavenly father can help me through these tough times!!

Need a part time job!

I am currently looking for a part time job just to bring in a little extra dough. I had a job interview at Macy's today and it went so well until, she told me they aren't even hiring! I don't understand why companies conduct interviews if they aren't hiring. I worked for Meier and Frank which turned into Macy's all the management remember me and I would have the job but wait they have no openings!! I am just really frustrated because it would have been perfect. I hope something else pans out. I want to not have to worry about any finances. I want to be able to do a few little extras and not worry about what bills need to be paid!! That is my frustration I just want to provide the best I can for my family and I feel as if I can contribute more. It just gets frustrating!! I just want everything to work out!!

Carson is 3 months old today!! I still can't believe how fast everything is going. He is already teething. I was shocked to discover on his left upper gum there is a tooth coming in. I told Jeremy the other day I think he is teething. Jeremy just looked at me like I was dumb to think it and said I don't think so. Well he drools way too much, He is constantly gnawing on his little hands, and he is inconsolable. I am just glad there is a reason he has been so upset all the time. I went from a quiet happy baby to one who likes to whine and cry. I miss the quiet days so hopefully his teeth come in and he is happy again. Lately life has been a little on the crazy side. Between work and trying to get my Avon business underway and being a Mom life is Nuts! Jeremy and I haven't had much time to get out and do much so we were really pleased to get an invite to go out with Jeremy's friend Vanessa and her boyfriend Jason. We got to go to a nice dinner and a movie. We went to see Land of the Lost and that is 2 hours of my life I will never get back. I like silly movies but that one was just stupid. I didn't want to see it but it was the one starting the earliest. We didn't want to leave Carson with Jeremy's Grandpa too late. It was nice to get out though. Now it's back to saving Money. I can't wait to get all the medical bills caught up. I was blind sided by all the bills. Well I don't have much to blog about so I will leave you with a picture of me and my Carson.

I am becoming one exhausted Mommy. I am working at home and loving it. I enjoy being able to spend time with my Teeny Toad but I am so tired. I am to the point where my eyes glaze over and I can't seem to focus. I knew that sleep was the one thing I was really going to miss and boy do I ever. I try to get to bed early but that just dosen't happen Carson goes to bed around 11pm. I try to get him to sleep earlier but that just dosen't happen on a regular basis. The other night he went to bed at 9:30pm and didn't get up til 5am that was a miracle and it was amazing. Now if I could just make the most of the hours he is sleeping. I am just sick of being tired all the time. Poor Jeremy has to put up with my mood swings and me always being tired. I just hope I can snap out of it soon before my poor hubby goes crazy on me.

The Zoo

For the long weekend Jeremy and I didn' t have any plans so we decided to get the Black Family together and go to the Zoo. We went on Sunday and boy was it raining hard. We still had a lot of fun thank heavens for umbrellas. We had fun taking Carson for the first time even though he had no clue what was going on. He was probably wondering why it was cold and wet. I was shocked to see how many parents didn't wrap up their babies and how many kids had no coats on. I felt like the best Mom in the world when I saw I was the only one bundling our little guy. We had fun watching the elephants. They were eating and all of a sudden the older Mama Elephant whacked the pregnant elephant with her trunk. The poor thing was so scared she didn't go near the food til the other one was done. She was searching the ground for food. It was so funny yet so sad. We definately had a good time!

Jury Duty

I think I am the only person who actually liked jury duty. I found it to be very interesting and I was even happy when they picked me for a juror. They had 20 people and only picked four. I don't know how I got to be picked but I was excited to help in the justice system. I felt a little biased after it got going when I found out that the car accident that occured due to the dui happened right next to my ward house. I am very familiar with the intersection that it was in and could tell when the defendant was lying about the set up with one of the roads. I was also familiar enough with the area to know exactly where the bar is that he was coming from. If the guy was LDS he would live in my ward. It is kind of weird how that all happened. I am sad it is over and wouldn't mind going back. I did my part for at least 2 years. I just wish I knew what his sentence was after we found him quilty. Oh well I guess it is better that I do not know.

Today is Carson's 2 month birthday!! The last two months have been completely hetic but I have loved every minute of it. He is such a bright spot in Our lives, even when life seems gloomy. I had fun this morning when Carson first woke up I sang him happy birthday and he cooed and smiled at me and I thought this is what makes being a Mom so special. He is really starting to get a little personality of his own and I Love it. He absolutely loves music he will stop crying when something is played for him even if it is just a ringtone off your phone. He dosen't seem to have a certain type of music that he likes yet but I am sure he will find it soon. Well Carson Mommy and Daddy love you happy birthday Teeny Toad.

My new obsession since working at home is facebook. I have been having so much fun getting in touch with all of my old friends from back in the day. My very best friends that I haven't talked to in years are all there. I feel so bad because they truly are the most wonderful best friends a girl could ask for but rarely do we see each other or even talk so it has been fun to find them since that has been impossible. So Sara and Heather I Love you guys and I am so glad that I have found you again. I hope we never lose track again. Working at home has been wonderful but it has had it's challenges like staying focused on the work. I am very impressed with myself for the discipline I have had, and only on days like today where it is slow do I plan to look at other stuff. The biggest challenge is looking at a messy house and not having the time to clean it. I am a neat freak and anybody who knows me knows that and so it is killing me that the garbage is overflowing and I can't see my kitchen counter. Only 2 rooms are clean and that is the living room and the guest bedroom. The living room is only clean because I did it on my lunch break yesterday. I am trying to get up the strength to do the kitchen next. Oh the joys of being a working mother no time for the simple things. But I wouldn't change being a mother for anything in the world. I Love my family way too much!!

Carson found his new favorite toy the other day. I didn't think he would do anything with it I just figured he had something to look at but before I knew it he has hitting the little toys and having so much fun. I couldn't help but laugh when he did because it is the funnest little sound to hear. I find so much joy in our son and I thank my heavenly father for him everyday.

I have been so incredibly blessed. I am finally doing what I always wanted to do and that is to be a stay at Home Mommy. I am working from home but the hours a really good and really flexible so I am so happy to be reporting from home. Besides working at home another benefit is that it made it so we had to get the internet so we finally have the internet at home. I will be able to blog a lot more often and post all my millions of pictures. I have so many that I will slowly add them so that it is not a major shock. Carson is growing so incredibly fast so to have this opportunity to spend all the time with him is great. I may still need babysitters but at least he is with family and I don't have to miss all the important things in my Angels life.

It has been ages since I posted anything but my life has been way too busy to blog lately! I went back to work already and that stinks. I went back early because we really need the money. I keep getting sent home and I am only averaging about 2 hrs a day if that, we all know that is no way to make a living. I am now looking for a new job so between that and having a new baby at home my life has been way too busy. So I am sorry for this boring blog. Our little Carson was 5lbs 2oz at birth and by the end of the hospital stay he weighed 4lbs 30z, and now he weighs 6lbs and 110z. He has grown 3/4 an inch too. I can definately see why people say enjoy every phase because at 3 weeks old he has already grown so fast. I am a very proud Mommy and Jeremy is an even prouder daddy. We are so Happy and I can't imagine our lives without our little prince. I Love My Family so much and I can't wait to make the Black Family an eternal family.

Carson Boyd Black Is Here!! He was born on March 15, 2009 at 8:37pm He was 5lbs and 2oz and 19 inches long. I forgot to bring my camera over to my Mom's house with me so pictures will be coming shortly. He was born after 12 hours of labor and finishing off with a c-section. I am doing surprisingly well and my little man is very healthy just very small. He lost a little weight and when I took him to the pediatrician on Friday he weighed only 4lbs and 3oz. I hope his weight comes up quick because I feel like I am going to break him. He looks just like his Daddy he has all his features except he has my ears. I can't wait to post pics. I will do that very soon. Cause It's fun showing off your newborn. Angelica my love I hope you are doing okay, and I can't wait to see your little man. He will be here soon, keep smiling!! I will keep you all posted on the new life I am living as a Mommy. I love saying that. I am a Mommy!!!

Changes Happen so fast!!!!!!!

I had the pleasure of having my first baby shower on Saturday. It was so much fun!! I got to see all my wonderful Friends who I just never see anymore and I think That was the most exciting part. I do have some pictures but I won't be able to post any for a little while since I am currently not home with my camera. I had so much fun catching up with everyone that Saturday I ran myself ragid. I didn't sit down all day and barely ate or drank anything all day long. I didn't realize this until about 10pm, and by then I was so worn out I just went to bed. Well here is where the real story begins very early Sunday Morning so around 6:30 am or so and not to mention the time change on top of that I thought I was in labor. So My very sweet husband and I got ready to go to the hospital. I am so happy now thinking back that it was not the real deal as we get in the car and oops!! We have no blastin gas and would never make it to the hospital. So first stop Chevron. I don't think Jeremy ever pumped gas that fast in his entire life. We then hopped on the freeway and he was speeding like crazy,,,,,,,,,,, the acceleration was freaking me out. I told him slow down the first stage of labor can take hours. His reply was my son is on his way and I have to get to the hospital. Finally he slowed down. Well we called all our parents to let them know what was going on. His Mom, Step Dad Marc, and Brother Zac hopped in the car and flew down from Layton and I mean flew they were less than five minutes behind our arrival. Jeremy's Dad never answered the phone and my Dad answered and said keep us posted. So as we all sat in the hospital room it became more clear that this was a false alarm but I was still in so much pain. After taking some blood and dang it no it was a lady no hot vampires like on Twilight. They let me go but I had to be on bedrest and take a 24 hour urine test. This was both gross and I feel completely unneccessary. I had to save it all from 10am sunday to 10am on Monday morning. I then had to take it back to the hospital. I then had to give more blood. yeah!! Especially when you love needles. Well what they were doing all the testing for was toximia I don't know if that is even how it is spelled but anyway. I then had my regular appointment with the doctor on Tuesday. So I go to the doctor and I am sitting there and look up and I see an Angel ok so it was Angelica. My heavens it is a small world. We even have the same doctor. Well We had a little catch up session and that was fun. Well I finally get to the doctor and everything from my test was good but my blood pressure was out of control. I took a non-stress test and I still have out of whack.... so long story short I am on Bedrest for the rest of my pregnancy and will probably be induced at the beginning of the week. I am staying at mama Patty's house so I don't go completely insane and I am entertained. SO I will hopefully be posting baby pictures by this time next week.

I have found that it has been so hard to find time to do anything anymore. I can't believe how much time and energy it takes to make your house baby ready. It dosen't help that I have been completely exhausted all of the time and by the time I get around to it, I don't want to do it. It is killing me to not have everything done yet, but I am wanting to rest too. I was so proud of myself for cleaning out one drawer the other day. I can't wait til our little guy is here because I will have something else to concentrate on other than my dirty house. I am looking forward to my first baby shower on Saturday and I am hoping to see all my dear friends there. So please stop by and say Hi. Oh and if Angelica sees this I have a gift for you so you have to come so I can give it to you. If I don't see you I will drop it by I just hope to see you there. Well my friends it is my nap time. Okay!! Now the count down is on. I still can't believe how fast this whole entire pregnancy has gone. As of Sunday I will be at 37 weeks and that is just amazing to me considering I feel as it just happened yesterday. I still remember so clearly the look of shock on Jeremy's face when I told him we were expecting. I think he was most shocked at how fast the test came back positive. He said he expected it to be like in the movies where you are waiting like 20 minutes to find out. So when not even 30 seconds later I am calling him into the bathroom I think he was a little stunned. I went to the doctor on Monday and I am dilated 1 cm and 70% effaced. The doctor was really pleased considering up until now we honestly were positive it was going to be a cesarean now it looks like I may actually be doing this the good old fashioned way. I am really looking forward to my next appointment which is on the 10th of March. My doctor is going out of town and doesn't think I need to come in before then. Other then the pregnancy update nothing is really new in our neck of the woods. We have had that awful cold going around our house but other than that everything is just as it should be progressing faster and faster into our future.

Okay so I know I am late with Valentine's day but you have to understand that life as I know it now is so crazy!! I can't seem to remember anything anymore and I have absolutely no energy. The fact that our house is semi clean right now is a feat!! Yeah Jenn!! First we have been getting the house ready for Baby and so last week the guest room and baby room got painted. Jeremy teases me and tells me I now have my traffic light house. Our bedroom is a red, baby room is Green and the guest room is Yellow. It wasn't planned that way it just happened. This week the guest room got decorated and It turned out so cute. I am so happy with it. I will post pictures once it is completely finished I just have a couple of last minute adjustments. I have been officially kicked out of the baby room and can't see it until my baby shower on the 7th. I have some idea of what's going on but I will be completely surprised with the finished product. So that has been the project the last couple of weeks. Then Saturday for Valentine's Day we decided since money is tight we would keep it simple Jeremy made me dinner and put a lovely table together in our living room. He gave me a vase with a yellow Rose which is my favorite and the Michael Buble Cd, which he had playing during our candle lit dinner. We then danced in the living room. Which was fun until I got completely winded half way through the song. Now I know why the people on dancing with the stars all lose a lot of weight. It dosen't help being 8 months pregnant and already always tired. I have been so tired and I can't stand it. That brings me to Sunday.. I was good and made it to church and then came home and fell asleep and completely spaced off our temple prep class. I felt so bad. Luckily our sweet Bishop understands and always makes sure I am feeling okay and his wife is just as pregnant so he understands completely. I had Jeremy take a few pictures of my belly since I haven't done that yet. I post them but keep in mind Image may appear larger. At least that is what I am told, I am told I am not this big really. I just look huge.

I just got back from another doctor's appointment and I am so happy with the fact that our little guy is growing just as he should be and we are on the count down as the doctor said. I still can't believe he will be here before we know it. I know Jeremy and I will both be happy when he is finally here. This week Jeremy and I are getting a feel for what it will be like when he is actually born and keeping us up all night long. I ended up sleeping on the couch last night and it must have been comfortable enough for me to fall asleep but when I woke up I was so sore. I realized I slept there all night when Jeremy woke me up after he had showered for work. I just can't wait til I get to see his little face and I will know all of this was worth it. I actually have no room to complain since I have had it really easy but I still can't wait until it is all done and he is here!!

I feel as if so much has happened this month and I am greatful for the church in my life. I have had the opportunity to learn some great lessons this month. For Enrichment night we had the pleasure of having Kenneth Cope come to our stake he spoke and sang for us and he was absolutely amazing. If you ever have the chance to see him never pass it up which I almost did. The day he came I wasn't feeling good and I was so cranky that I just wanted to hide in my bedroom and sleep. I promised my neighbor Cheryl I would go with her so I got ready to go and I got there where I noticed I was stood up. Cheryl didn't come. I was really beside myself since I still don't know a lot of the sisters in my ward. I only saw one who I spoke to that I actually knew. I ended up sitting all alone but I am so glad that I didn't have anybody to distract me because I have to admit it was the most spiritual expirience I have had in a really long time. Bishop Cope came up to me and introduced himself he said Hi I'm Kenneth Thank you for coming. I was amazed at the glow that was coming off of this man. I was so stupified that all I could say was Nice to meet you. I was amazed at how I felt as if he was speaking to me directly and as if nobody else was there but the two of us. I am just so glad that I didn't hide at home and I actually went because it was amazing.

As We are approaching the birth of our first son I decided I needed a place to post pictures and tid bits from our lives for our family and friends to see since let's face it. Jer and I are never around to tell you what is going on. We are homebodies that you never see. We get home and the garage door closes and that is it you just don't see us. Like our neighbor says we can waive to you through the blinds. We aren't big on talking on the phone much either. So here it is folks what you have all been waiting for The Black Family Blog!! We are currently on count down to the arrival of little Carson Boyd Black who should be here in 6 weeks. Scary!! Life is changing fast. If that isn't enough fuel on the fire for change. Jeremy and I after so many years have started going back to church at the beginning of the year, and on Sunday we are starting our Temple Prep class which I am really looking forward to. It is going to be a big year for our family and I can honestly say I have never been so excited or more scared in my entire life. So please pray for our little family as we are starting on our new Adventure. I plan on keeping you all well informed on our life so check back to see what the next chapter of our lives brings....
